FAQ — Frequently Asked Questions / Soalan Lazim
English
1. What is period underwear?
Underwear with the pad built in. Absorbent layers are sewn into the gusset, so there's no separate pad or tampon to manage.
2. Do I still wear a pad?
No. The underwear is the pad. On your heaviest hour, some people layer a cup or tampon underneath as backup — optional, not required.
3. Does it leak? How does it stop leaking?
It's built to catch flow before it reaches your outer clothes. Cloud Bamboo uses a breathable, PFAS-free TPU film as its leak-proof layer — SGS-tested at 0.00ppm, so no "forever chemicals." Max Performance uses a PFAS-free polyurethane barrier plus a double leak-proof seal stitched around the edges — the seam is the exact point where most period underwear actually fails, so that's what it reinforces.
4. I have heavy flow — which one should I wear?
Max Performance: full coverage, 40–50ml capacity — that's 3–5x a regular overnight pad — rated 8 hours unassisted. That's your heavy-flow pair. Cloud Bamboo holds 15–25ml (3–4 tampons), built for light-to-moderate flow, not heavy — don't reach for it on your worst days. On extremely heavy days, go hybrid: Max Performance plus a tampon for the first few hours.
5. How does it work?
Four layers, one job each: the top layer pulls moisture down and away so your skin stays dry, the core absorbs and locks it in, the leak-proof layer stops it going anywhere else, and the outer layer stays breathable so it doesn't feel like a diaper. The dry-feeling top layer isn't a coincidence — it moves liquid down faster than your skin can absorb it back.
6. I have endometriosis — can I wear it on heavy days?
Short answer: yes, most people with endo do. Endometriosis affects about 10% of women of reproductive age worldwide (WHO), and in a study of nearly 28,000 women with endo, just over half (50.8%) reported heavy or irregular bleeding as a symptom (Moradi et al., Scientific Reports, 2021). Clinically, "heavy menstrual bleeding" means total blood loss over 80ml across a whole cycle — normal range is 30–80ml over 3–7 days (NICE guidelines). That volume is spread across days, not one hour, which is why an 8-hour, 40–50ml pair covers most heavy days for most people. No published study has tested period underwear capacity specifically against endometriosis bleeding, and flow varies a lot person to person, especially on the worst 1–2 days with clots. Practical guidance: check every 4–6 hours on your heaviest days regardless of the rated capacity, and pair with a cup as backup on day 1–2 if needed.
7. How long can I wear it?
Up to 8 hours per pair. Three pairs a day (work, gym, sleep) tracks with that — you're essentially doing a fresh 8-hour cycle each time.
8. How many pairs do I need to own?
Minimum 4–6 to get through a full cycle without doing laundry daily, more if you're changing 3x a day. Cold wash + air dry (no dryer) takes time to cycle back into rotation, so pair count should match your wash turnaround, not just daily wear count. Bundles: 3 pairs get 15% off, 5 pairs 20%, 7 pairs 24% — applied automatically at checkout.
9. How do I wash it?
Cold wash only. Heat breaks down the leak-proof layer and shortens the underwear's life — this isn't a "just to be safe" instruction, it's the actual failure mode.
10. How long does it take to dry?
Depends on humidity and airflow — lay flat or hang in a well-ventilated spot, avoid direct dryer heat. In humid climates, budget longer than you'd expect; a fan or open window cuts it down.
11. What are the sizes?

|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 60–67 | 23.5–26 | 84–91 | 33–35.5 |
| S | 67–74 | 26–29 | 91–98 | 35.5–38.5 |

| XL | 88–98 | 34.5–38.5 | 112–119 | 44–47 |
Measure waist at the belly button, hips at the fullest point. Between sizes → size up. If unsure, use your regular underwear size, or one size down for a snugger fit.
12. Which one is suitable for me?
Moderate flow, sensitive skin, overnight → Cloud Bamboo. Heavy flow, workouts, long days → Max Performance.
13. I have postpartum leaks — can I use it?
Yes — with one caveat. Postpartum bleeding (lochia) can be heavy and unpredictable with clots in the first couple of weeks, heavier than a regular period. Use Max Performance, and change more often than you think you need to. It's an external product, so it's fine to use unlike internal ones — but week one needs extra attention.
14. Can I use it for bladder leaks?
Yes — Cloud Bamboo is best suited for light-to-moderate bladder leaks at the same 15–25ml capacity as period flow. For moderate-to-heavy incontinence specifically, dedicated incontinence underwear is engineered for faster absorption speed and odour control specific to urine, not blood.
15. Can I wear it on regular days?
Yes — Max Performance especially, since it's thin enough to wear as a daily backup, on flights, hiking, wherever you don't want to think about your period.
16. Which one is seamless?
Max Performance.
17. What about period stains?
The leak-proof layer keeps blood from reaching the outer fabric, so visible staining is rare in normal use. The real driver of stains is what happens after you take it off: rinse in cold water immediately. Hot water sets the protein in blood permanently into the fibres — that's the stain, not the underwear failing.
18. What about clots?
Clots are normal — coagulated blood, tissue, and mucus. A small clot sitting on the fabric surface can be wiped off with tissue and you're fine to keep wearing the same pair — it hasn't soaked through, because the wicking layer (bamboo viscose on Cloud Bamboo, unbleached cotton on Max Performance) pulls moisture down and away from your skin fast. Still do the full cold rinse when you take them off at the end of the wear — that's what actually prevents staining.
Bahasa Malaysia
4. Flow saya heavy, boleh pakai ke? Yang mana sesuai?
Max Performance — full coverage, tampung sampai 40–50ml (3–5x overnight pad biasa), tahan sampai 8 jam tanpa tukar.
5. Macam mana dia berfungsi?
Ada 4 lapisan, setiap satu ada kerja dia: lapisan atas tarik cecair turun & jauh dari kulit so awak rasa kering, lapisan tengah (core) serap & kunci cecair tu, lapisan kalis bocor halang cecair pergi mana-mana lagi, dan lapisan luar biarkan udara masuk so tak rasa macam pakai diaper.
7. Berapa lama boleh pakai?
Sampai 8 jam setiap pasang. Kalau awak pakai 3 pasang sehari (kerja, gym, tidur), tu memang match dengan 8 jam setiap satu.
8. Berapa banyak pasang perlu ada?
Minimum 4–6 pasang untuk cover satu cycle penuh tanpa kena basuh setiap hari, lagi banyak kalau awak tukar 3x sehari. Basuh air sejuk + air-dry (jangan guna dryer) ambil masa untuk kering balik, so bilangan pasang kena match dengan berapa cepat awak boleh basuh & keringkan. Bundle discount: 3 pasang 15% off, 5 pasang 20%, 7 pasang 24% — auto-apply masa checkout.
9. Macam mana nak basuh?
Cold wash je. Air panas rosakkan lapisan kalis bocor dan pendekkan jangka hayat seluar dalam — ni bukan sekadar "untuk berjaga-jaga," ni memang sebab dia rosak.
10. Berapa lama nak kering?
12. Yang mana sesuai untuk saya?
Flow sederhana, kulit sensitif, tidur malam → Cloud Bamboo. Flow heavy, gym, hari panjang → Max Performance.
15. Boleh pakai time hari biasa?
Boleh — terutama Max Performance, sebab dia nipis so sesuai jadi backup harian, masa flight, hiking, mana-mana awak tak nak fikir pasal period langsung.
16. Yang mana seamless?
Max Performance.
17. Pasal kesan stain period?
